Barry and I were recently due to travel overseas for a 7 week holiday. We needed a house sitter to take care of our home and our cat Tiger, who I might add is very spoilt! Asking around we were referred to Barbara and Pavel whom we agreed to meet and have a chat. Instantly we were impressed with their personalities and caring ways; and they gave the indication that they would take special care of our beloved cat and home. They came and had a meal with us before we departed and we were able to familiarise them with our home and routines for the cat.

While we were away we received several e-mails keeping us informed how things were at home; this was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday without any concerns. On our arrival home we were welcomed with the fire going and a lovely pot of hot soup. Our home was perfectly clean and tidy, and the outside areas also. Of course our cat had had such a great time with Barbara and Pavel and so well cared for that he was not at all interested in our homecoming.

They would be our first call when we need a house sitter again and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs an honest, reliable young couple to care for their home.

Our home is our largest asset and our pets are beloved family members, it would be unthinkable for us to leave the care of these 2 things in the hands of people we do not absolutely trust.

Pavel and Barb have been caring for our home and pets whilst we are away for 3 years now and I can truly say if they were not available to walk and play with our bull mastiff, cuddle and be ignored by our cat, we would strongly consider changing our dates to ensure they are available. I especially love the snapshots of our happy animals.

When we come home our house is in excellent condition, our pets well-loved but indeed happy to have their family home.

I do not hesitate to recommend these two to care for your home and pets.

We have used Barbara and Pavel house sitting service for 3 years now.

Our dog Tikki loves them both and is very happy to have them at her “service” instead of us when we need a break! She is well looked after with walks, feeding and lots of love.

We asked Barbara and Pavel to look after Tikki in August for a month but they were booked out, they did however manage to find someone else to help and it all worked out well. We always find our dog and house in good order when we return home and we highly recommend them, we are very lucky to have them here in Blenheim.

When we took a 3 week trip to the USA in 2015 our biggest worry was what to do with our 3 super spoilt fur babies. We knew we didn't want them in a kennel for that amount of time. Lucky for us our close friends recommended Barb and Pavel.

These two were amazing, I think they took better care of the dogs than we do, they were walked regularly, cuddled continually and the house was immaculate when we returned.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these guys, I am only sad that we moved to the North island and can't have them house sit for us again, as we would in a heart beat.

Thank you Barb and Pavel. I went away for 5 weeks overseas and was worried about my 2 dogs and house. Barb and Pavel were recommended to me as highly professional and caring. It was vital to me to have someone who cared for the dogs especially an older staffy of 14yrs old with walking issues. On the first meeting, they patted and hugged the dogs so I knew they would care for them like they were their own pets. During my holiday, I got email updates and photos of the dogs on walks, laying in front of the fire, and enjoying life. I was never worried about my house or the dogs.

When I returned home, the dogs were looking very well and happy. They had regular walks and playing with their toys. The house and garden were looked after - clean and tidy with all the dog blankets washed. My lawns were also mowed which was a pleasant surprise. Pavel had the fire all ready to go for me, coming from summer in the Northern Hemisphere back to cool August weather. They also left me a lovely photo of the dogs down at the river on one of their walks, they were all smiles.

They are caring, thoughtful and professional. They are a treasure and I would highly recommend them to care for anyone's pets and house.

Barbora and Pavel are the best! They looked after our home and our pet with loving care while we were away overseas for a month. Everything ran smoothly in our absence. They kept us up to date with regular emails and photos. We had the utmost confidence that everything was being well cared for in our absence so that we could relax and enjoy our holiday. When we returned the house was spotless and we were touched by the extra details of flowers and a lovely framed photo of Emma (who thinks you're pretty cool too).
